Residential Application
Residential Applications for service can be made at Snapping Shoals EMC’s headquarters located at 14750 Brown Bridge Road Covington, GA 30016 (directions), or at our Ellenwood/Henry County Office, 190 Fairview Road Ellenwood, GA 30049 (directions). For your further convenience you may download a copy of the residential application and submit it to our office. Security deposits may be required based on applicant’s credit score. A picture I.D. may also be required. |

Commercial Application
Commercial Applications for service can be made at Snapping Shoals EMC’s headquarters located at 14750 Brown Bridge Road Covington, GA 30014 (directions), or at our Ellenwood/Henry County Office, 190 Fairview Road Ellenwood, GA 30049 (directions). For further convenience, you may fill out the commercial application and submit it to our office. Security deposits may be required based on applicant’s credit score. A picture I.D. may also be required.

Residential Electric Rates
Summer
(May through October)
Base Charge: $12.50 per month
First 1,000 kwh: 7.725¢ per kwh
Over 1,000 kwh: 9.050¢ per kwh
Winter
(November through April)
Base Charge: $12.50 per month
First 1,000 kwh: 7.350¢ per kwh
Over 1,000 kwh: 5.500¢ per kwh
* These rates do not include the Power Cost Adjustment (PCA). The PCA is a separate line item that appears on your SSEMC bill each month, which reflects the increase/decrease in the co-op's costs of wholesale power. The PCA is calculated by multiplying your energy usage in kilowatt-hours by the current PCA factor.
